ABOUT

Faten Elias is a San Francisco native with a deep love of all kinds of music. She is part of a musically-rich family history going back generations—with a grandfather who worked as a luthier, her father played oud and her uncle violin. Faten fondly remembers watching family musicians and others gather to perform in her family’s nightclub in the heart of the city, a popular entertainment venue in the 1960s and 70s San Francisco community music scene.

She herself has been singing since she was a young girl, beginning in the church choir and later expanding into musical theater. Now, Faten enjoys performing across several genres of music and has trained in a range of vocal styles. She brings confidence, engaging presence and her bright smile to all, whether singing with an instrumental musician as an acoustic duo or fronting a full band. Faten’s performance variety includes Pop/Top 40, Jazz Standards, Rock, Motown, 60s - 80s hits, Show Tunes, Latin and International music—encompassing traditional and updated arrangements of many songs.

Faten’s musical background in the Bay Area & Northern California includes performing in iconic venues in San Francisco like The Julia Morgan Ballroom, The Chapel, and The Presidio, as well as Mission Ranch Hotel in Carmel, Wineries in Napa, Sonoma, Livermore, Harlow’s in Sacramento, and The Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. She has created and maintained strong relationships with an extensive group of talented musicians throughout the area. Her experience also includes voice-over work and studio recording sessions.
